Gavin, the trio's songwriter, attended Newcastle College of Music where he developed his harmonic and melodic ideas before attending the Musicians Institute, London.

Gavin’s song ‘Blossom’ was recorded by the International acapella group ‘The Flying Pickets’ for their 2008 album Big Mouth.

He recently co -wrote (with David Freedman) the theme song to the Emmy award winning animation series 'Ronja the Robber's Daughter' for the Japanese Oscar winning Studio Ghibli and wrote the lyrics for the featured ‘Wolf Song’.

He is currently recording and writing for sync agencies Gothic Storm & No Sheet Music.
